Build Your System

At First Fence, we provide all the essentials to build your chain link fencing system, from posts and chain link rolls to hog rings, pliers, and spray paint for touch-ups.

Use our fencing calculator to determine exactly what you need. Simply enter the required meterage, and it will calculate the number of chain link rolls needed. Then, select the appropriate posts based on your fencing layout:

End Posts: For the start and finish of each fencing run.

Corner Posts: Used where the fence changes direction.

Two-Way Strainer Posts: Required for straight runs exceeding 69m to maintain tension.  Use these posts no more than 30m apart on straight runs.

Intermediate Posts: Recommended at 3m intervals for additional support.

Your fencing requirements will depend on your location and specific project needs, and our range of high-quality components ensures a secure and professional installation.

Add chain link hog ring clips to secure the fencing to tension wires or to support structures, a hog ring clip gun to fix your hog rings securely, rapid set post mix for a sturdy in-ground installation, and spray paint touch-up cans to quickly repair and scuffs or marks efficiently. It is recommended that the hog ring clips be fixed at 300mm intervals.
