Guard Rail With Sight Top
Standing at a height of 1350mm and a width of 2000mm, this type of Guard Rail structure consists of both the standard infill bars and an additional section for viewing, known as a sight top, within its construction.
Having this sight top across the upper part of the frame means that visibility is increased for both vehicles and pedestrians, this makes it ideal for use particularly around schools and other areas where it is more likely that there will be children present. This Guard Rail is the perfect solution for busy roads and pavements as it can act as an indication for where it is safe for pedestrians to cross the road whilst offering a form of handrail support. The rails also offer pedestrians extra protection against passing vehicles and are commonly used on roads which contain bends.
Constructed from galvanised steel, this Guard Rail is protected against rust as well as wear and tear. Thanks to this high level of corrosion resistance and anti-weathering features, it means that the rails require little to no maintenance once they’re installed.
