SpectaRail® from First Fence follows SAPCA guidelines for building and maintaining fencing systems for sports facilities. The guidelines ensure that the fencing systems are constructed and maintained properly. This helps to provide a safe and secure environment for athletes and spectators. By adhering to these guidelines, SpectaRail® ensures high-quality fencing solutions for sports facilities. It is important to note that this product line is not intended to function as a stadium crush barrier.
The SpectaRail® line meets SAPCA requirement 1.2.4 in providing 'a boundary line, often popular at athletic venues.' It has the recommended height of 1.2m, a tubular handrail (fencing kit) with an overall diameter of 48.3mm, the recommended quantity of fixings per bay (6), and the panels secured with threaded M8 bolts. It has a 20mm ground clearance and is suitable for sports facilities or arenas that house football, rugby, tennis, netball and athletic events.

The panels and gates have a smooth design that makes them safe to use in places where children and families are often present. The strong fencing keeps spectators from getting onto the field and causing accidents or injuries.
This sports fencing range includes a fencing kit as well as single gate and double leaf gate kits, all designed in a dig-in format for installation on flat ground in sports play areas.
Our spectator railings are made from pre-galvanised steel and are available in a range of different powder coated colours.
