The AcoustiGuard® SR1 (A1) LPS 1175 Acoustic Fencing Kit is a premium dual-purpose solution, engineered to deliver both accredited perimeter security and exceptional acoustic performance. Ideal for high-sensitivity environments, it provides effective protection against unauthorised access while significantly reducing noise pollution from road, rail, and industrial activity.
Available in 1.8m, 2.0m, 2.4m, and 3.0m heights, this robust yet visually appealing timber system is suitable for commercial, industrial, infrastructure, and residential applications. Each kit combines pressure-treated timber, a heavy-duty steel framework, and an advanced acoustic core into a fully certified, ready-to-install solution.

Security Performance (LPS 1175 SR1 A1)
Tested and certified by the LPCB, the system achieves LPS 1175 SR1 (A1) security rating, ensuring resilience against sustained attack with common hand tools. Central to its strength is an integrated 358 security mesh panel concealed within the timber structure, delivering exceptional resistance to cutting and climbing
Acoustic Performance (BS EN 1793)
Independently tested to BS EN 1793, BS EN 1794-1, and BS EN 1794-2, AcoustiGuard® is certified as a road traffic noise-reducing device. With an average panel density of 71kg/m² (excluding posts) and a multi-layer high-mass design, it delivers outstanding sound insulation and long-lasting acoustic performance.
Advanced Panel Design
Each 2.42m-wide panel is precision-built to optimise both strength and noise reduction. At its core lies EchoAbsorb insulation, protected by a moisture-resistant nylon sheet for long-term durability. This is layered between heavy-duty EchoAbsorb timber boards and reinforced with a 358 mesh security panel. Panels are finished with a robust capping rail and gravel board, providing 100mm ground clearance for added timber protection.
The panels supplied are fully assembled and ready to lift into place for total efficiency on site.

Every component of the AcoustiGuard® system is designed for long-term performance and compliance:
Timber: All timber is pressure-treated to Tanalised UC4 grade, providing the highest protection against rot and insect attack, even in permanent ground contact. This treatment fully complies with BS 8417 standards.
RSJ Steel Posts: The structural framework is formed from heavy-duty RSJ (Rolled Steel Joist) posts, engineered to provide exceptional strength and stability over the full lifespan of the fencing system. Each RSJ post is hot-dip galvanised to ISO 1461, giving superior corrosion resistance and protection against rust, even in the harshest outdoor environments. Unlike lighter alternatives, RSJ posts ensure the fence can withstand both physical impact and long-term exposure to the elements, making them an essential part of the system’s certified performance.
Complete Certified Kit: Each fencing kit includes all the required components for your chosen height, including correctly sized RSJ posts, ensuring a fully compliant system that meets both its security and acoustic certifications.
