AcoustiGuard® SR1 (A1) LPS 1175 Post Kits provide the structural backbone of the AcoustiGuard® Acoustic Fencing system. While the panels deliver sound insulation and a secure screen, it is these posts that anchor the system, ensuring long-term strength, stability, and certified performance.
Available for fence heights of 1.8m, 2.0m, 2.4m, and 3.0m, each kit is precisely engineered to support a high-performance security and acoustic barrier that resists both environmental forces and attempted intrusions.

The LPS 1175 SR1 (A1) rating is one of the most respected standards for perimeter security. Certified by the Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB), it verifies that a barrier can withstand a sustained one-minute attack from an opportunistic intruder using small hand tools, such as screwdrivers, pliers, knives, and spanners.

Each one is manufactured as a Rolled Steel Joist (RSJ), also known as an I-beam, a profile renowned for its exceptional strength-to-weight ratio and resistance to bending. Built for decades of service, every post is manufactured from high-quality steel and protected with a hot-dip galvanised finish to ISO 1461.
During galvanisation, the entire RSJ is submerged in molten zinc, creating a tough, bonded coating that protects against corrosion on every surface. This process delivers:

Fixing is achieved with M8 x 100mm Flange Hex Head Wood Screws, securing the rails directly to the fence post. This prevents panels from being lifted out, an essential anti-tamper security feature.
Installation uses the “dig-in” method, with post lengths calculated to provide deep ground embedment and maximum stability:
- 1.8m system height - 2700mm posts
- 2.0m system height - 3000mm posts
- 2.4m system height - 3300mm posts
- 3.0m system height - 4200mm posts
This deep setting ensures each one can withstand wind loading, impact forces, and attempts at forced entry, keeping your system secure and upright.
