Scaffolding Poles

Standard scaffolding tubes are 48.3mm in diameter and have a 3.2mm thickness. Our scaffold Poles are available in 5ft, 6ft, 8ft, 10ft, 13ft, 16ft and 21ft lengths, and are made from high-quality galvanised steel.

Offering a high level of strength and durability, our scaffolding tubes are designed to last a long time and are completely reusable. Paired with the scaffold boards to help create a scaffold tower to comply with safety regulations and help gain access to your project.

Scaffold Boards

Our scaffold boards are manufactured from European whitewood timber and meet the BS 2482:2009 standard. We can supply them in 6ft, 8ft, 10ft and 13ft lengths, and they should be securely laid onto transoms within the scaffolding structure for safety and support.

Scaffold boards are ideal as they provide a strong and supportive walkway within your overall scaffolding tower structure, enabling you to access the building whilst it’s undergoing construction work.

All of our scaffolding boards offer a high level of strength and are suitable for multiple uses.

Scaffolding Fittings

At First Fence, we offer a range of scaffolding fittings, which will allow you to construct your scaffolding system in different directions to meet your structural requirements.

All of our scaffolding fittings are made from steel, which has been galvanised with zinc to help protect them from rusting. We have three types of steel scaffolding fittings for you to choose from:

• Double/Right Angle Couplers: These attach the scaffolding tubes at right angles and are generally used between standards and transoms within scaffolding.
• Swivel Couplers: These scaffolding fittings allow tubes to be attached at any angle, thus making them popular for the bracing within scaffolding.
• Single/Putlog Couplers: These are used to connect transom tubes to ledger tubes, but should be used as load-bearing fixings within scaffolding.

Scaffold Sheeting

Acrow Props

Acrow props are a type of adjustable steel support system commonly used in conjunction with scaffolding tubes. Telescopic poles work to adjust height accurately for creating level work platforms. They also support beams, floors, or ceilings temporarily during construction or renovation projects.

These props are easy to use with a screw mechanism for adjusting height quickly and securely. They are a valuable addition to any scaffolding setup. Acrow props come in a range of sizes (0, 1, 2, 3, and 4) to match your project's needs.

Mortar Tubes and Rubbish Chutes

Mortar tubs are made from durable plastic and designed for transporting and mixing mortar. Available in sizes suitable for crane lifts and forklifts, they keep your materials contained and mobile.

Rubbish chutes, often constructed from interlocking sections, offer a safe and controlled way to dispose of debris from various heights. They can be attached directly to scaffolding and eliminate the risk of falling materials, keeping your worksite clean and hazard-free.
