Introducing First Fence's PlaySecure® gates, the ultimate choice for ensuring the safety of your play areas, parks, and public spaces. These gates have been designed with the utmost attention to safety and quality to comply with RoSPA regulations, which are aimed at preventing accidents and ensuring child safety, giving you peace of mind that your play areas are secure and safe for children.
Manufactured from high-quality, durable pre-galvanised steel, PlaySecure® gates are built to withstand heavy usage and harsh weather conditions, ensuring longevity and reliability. The RoSPA compliant gates are available in a single leaf and double leaf format and are a dig-in format.
The gate edges are smooth and the gate has a sleek, brightly coloured powder coated finish, which helps prevent rust and other corrosion from occurring.
Our child safety gates have a universal swing direction, which is determined by the retrofitting of the slam plate, which means they conform to the RoSPA requirement for gates to preferably swing outwards unless a hazard is nearby. This helps prevent unleashed dogs from entering the play area.
With a 1.2m opening the single leaf gate easily conforms to the recommendation that gates be at least 1.0m at the opening to allow pushchairs and wheelchairs through. The double leaf gate is 2.9m wide, which allows emergency vehicle access.
The PlaySecure® gates all feature a self-closing mechanism, which allows the gate to automatically close and latch itself. This self-closer has an adjustable speed, which ensures the gate does not close faster than the recommended five seconds to prevent it from hitting a child's back.
The gates come with safety tethers, which keep the gate upright in the unlikely event of a hinge failure and are compliant with BS EN 12604 gate safety.
The PlaySecure® child safe gate is a dig in format and will need Post Mix to ensure a stable installation, with a recommendation of three bags per post.
PlaySecure® Railing Gates are designed for minimal maintenance. Occasional cleaning with a damp cloth may be necessary to remove dirt or debris. The powder-coated finish can be touched up with our handy touch up spray paint can.
