Explore our range of Timber fencing below:

Timber Acoustic Fencing and Gates

Reduce noise pollution and enhance privacy with our stylish and effective timber acoustic fencing and gate range. Timber acoustic fencing and gates are timber panels and gates that is designed to reflect or absorb sound resulting in the reduction of noise pollution.

Manufactured from quality Tanalised, pressure treated timber from a reputable FSC certified UK sawmill. Ideal for locations like roadsides, hospitals, schools, and new housing estates, these fences also offer excellent privacy, creating a more peaceful and secluded environment.

We have three styles of acoustic fencing EchoGroove, EchoReflect and EchoAbsorb. Our EchoGroove and EchoReflect are designed to reflect the sound ways. The difference between these panels is that the EchoReflect has vertical panels and the EchoGroove has horizontal panels. Our final design is the EchoAbsorb which has soundproof membrane which absorbs the sound. All of our timber acoustic fencing are available in sizes of 1.8m, 2.0m and 2.4m high with a standard width of 2.4m.

Timber Knee Rail

Knee rail, also known as birdsmouth or diamond fencing, is a low-cost wooden fence solution for marking boundaries. Unlike traditional fences, it's short enough to easily step over and doesn't aim to provide high security. This simple design makes it easy to build on-site and adapts well to uneven terrain. Timber Knee rails are used commonly around schools, car parks, and sports fields. It discourages people from straying into unwanted areas while maintaining a clear sightline.

Build your ideal knee rail fence with our comprehensive selection of components. We offer rails in two lengths (1.8m or 3.6m) and two widths (75mm x 75mm and 100mm x 100mm) to match your needs. To ensure a perfect fit, our 100mm x 100mm posts come in two heights (0.9m or 1.2m) corresponding to the rail width. Choose from three different post strap styles for a unique look. The Bishop's Hat is ideal for wider rails. The V-style and Shoe-style are better suited for narrower rails

And for a customised look, you can choose from three post strap styles: Bishop's Hat for the wider rails, and V-style or Shoe-style for the narrower ones.

At First Fence, we offer a range of timber post and rail fencing components to suit various needs. Our post and rail range includes 125mm x 75mm posts in heights of 1.8m and 2.1m, along with rails measuring 3.6m x 87mm x 38mm. Crafted from rough sawn timber and treated with Tanalised Green, our products ensure durability and longevity.

Our timber comes from sustainable sources, predominantly Norway Spruce (Picea Abies) or Sitka Spruce, sourced from North Wales through an FSC-approved supplier. With our high-quality timber post and rail fencing, you can create sustainable boundaries that blend into your outdoor setting.

Standard Timber Fencing

Our standard timber fencing range consists of timber fencing panels, concrete or timber posts and gravel boards. Timber fencing is commonly used in gardens, commercial properties, public parks and residential areas.

Our timber fencing panels are made from high-quality timber and come in lap or feather edge designs. They offer a secure, attractive, and weather-resistant border for your garden, with heights ranging from 3ft to 6ft and a standard width of 6ft.

For installation, we offer timber or slotted concrete fencing posts. Slotted concrete posts allow easy panel installation without extra fixing, while timber posts provide a traditional look and need wood screws for attachment. Post lengths range from 5ft to 10ft.

To protect your fence, our concrete gravel boards act as a barrier against rot and moisture, extending panel lifespan. Available in 6 inches or 12 inches high, they ensure a tidy finish and conceal gaps between panels and the ground.
