This post is of rough sawn timber produced from Norway Spruce - Picea Abies or Sitka Spruce, felled predominantly from North Wales. The timber is sourced from an FSC Approved Supplier, which verifies that the forest is being administered in a manner that safeguards biodiversity and enhances the well-being of local communities and workers, all the while guaranteeing its economic sustainability. Forests certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) adhere to rigorous standards encompassing environmental, social, and economic considerations.
The timber post is also available as a 2.1m height and is a dig in format so will require Post Mix to firmly secure it into the ground (2 bags per post are recommended). For the 1.2m system, you will need to dig in 600mm of this 1.8m post. The horizontal rail which affixes to the installed posts with 100mm x 4.5mm Round Wire Nails, is available as a 3.6m long x 87mm x 38mm format. One post per 1.8m of fencing plus one post at the end of the run is recommended.
