Product Description
1.8m x 125mm x 75mm Timber Post to Suit 1.2m System
The 1.8m x 125mm x 75mm Timber Post is designed for use with 1.2m high Post and Rail fencing systems. Its traditional timber construction provides a strong and natural-looking solution for boundary demarcation across rural, agricultural and residential settings.
Ethical Wood
This post is of rough-sawn timber produced from Norway Spruce - Picea Abies or Sitka Spruce, felled predominantly from North Wales. The timber is sourced from an FSC-approved supplier, which verifies that the forest is being administered in a manner that safeguards biodiversity and enhances the well-being of local communities and workers, all the while guaranteeing its economic sustainability. Forests certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) adhere to rigorous standards encompassing environmental, social, and economic considerations.

- Designed for 1.2m high Post and Rail systems
- Rough-sawn Norway Spruce or Sitka Spruce
- FSC-approved timber supply

Installation
This is a dig-in post designed to be securely set into the ground using Post Mix. We recommend using two bags of post mix per post.
For a 1.2m fencing system, approximately 600mm of the 1.8m post should be installed below ground.
We recommend using one post every 1.8m of fencing, plus an additional post at the end of the run.
Complete Your Post & Rail System
The 3.6m x 87mm x 38mm Timber Rail connects the posts to create your fencing framework and can be secured using 100mm x 4.5mm Round Wire Nails.
For additional animal deterrence, roll mesh can be attached to the post and rail system. Barbed wire can also be added to help deter unauthorised access to private land.
Timber Maintenance
Regular maintenance can help extend the life of your timber fencing. Inspect posts and rails regularly for signs of damage or deterioration, and consider staining or painting the timber to provide additional protection against the elements.
