Enhance the defence and ease of access of your sports venue with First Fence's premium SpectaRail® double leaf gate kit, designed to integrate with the First Fence SpectaRail® fencing system. Built for resilience and performance, these gates provide the ideal balance of protection and easy access, ensuring a safe and well-controlled setting for spectators, participants, and staff alike.
Spectator railings fulfil multiple roles, such as ensuring safety, managing crowds, and improving the viewing experience. Proper safety measures, including railings, are mandatory in many sports venues.
First Fence’s SpectaRail® double leaf gate kit includes everything you need to create a vital component of your spectator railing system. The SpectaRail® line has been developed in compliance with the Sports and Play Construction Association (SAPCA) Code of Practice for the construction and maintenance of fencing systems for sports facilities.
The double leaf gate is SAPCA compliant ('pedestrian barrier').
Please note that this product has not been designed as a stadium crush barrier.

The SpectaRail® double leaf gate kit is an integral element of the SpectaRail® system, which has been designed to be used in a variety of sporting applications such as football pitches and stadiums, cricket grounds, public parks, and community sports facilities.
Crafted from high-quality pre-galvanised steel, the double leaf gate kit is resilient to the damaging effects of the weather, making it ideal for permanent outdoor installation. Available with a professionally applied Polyester Powder Coated finish, in a range of colours which gives your gate another layer of protection and a sleek and polished finish? Custom colours are available, please get in touch to discuss the options.
SpectaRail® is a dig-in only fencing solution and is suited for the type of terrain commonly found on sports pitches and grounds. You will need post mix to ensure a very strong installation; we recommend two bags per gate post. For the double leaf gate, it is highly recommended to use a locking drop bolt.
Each double leaf gate kit contains two gate leaves, hinge and catch post, folded clamp bars, a SpectaRail® fixing kit, and a Unislide double slider gate kit (padlockable). The SpectaRail® double leaf gate is to be installed with 600mm in the ground, which gives a ground clearance of 20mm which must be maintained to keep sports equipment inside effectively, and the 3-way weld-on hinge allows opening of 180°, meaning the gate can swing back against the fence without obstructing the walkway, keeping pedestrians and players safe.
The double leaf gate features clamp bar fixings, these stop finger entrapment and ensure there are no sharp edges.

M4.8 x 20MM self tapping screws x2
60x60 black ribbed inserts x6
LOCINOX bolt and nut M14 x4
LOCINOX anti-sabotage eyebolt (110mm) and M16 nuts x4

Within the First Fence SpectaRail® line is a single leaf gate and fencing kit.
