1.2m High x 2.59m Wide 868 Mesh SpectaRail® Fencing Kit
The 1.2m High x 2.59m Wide 868 Mesh SpectaRail® Fencing Kit provides a clear boundary between spectators and playing areas while maintaining excellent visibility.
Designed for sports fields, parks and recreational facilities, the modular system is ideal for football, rugby and cricket grounds, athletics tracks, playgrounds and community sports facilities.
The SpectaRail® range has been developed in accordance with the Sports and Play Construction Association (SAPCA) Code of Practice for fencing systems at sports facilities.
Please note: SpectaRail® is not designed to be used as a stadium crush barrier.

Designed for Sports Facilities
SpectaRail® provides a clear demarcation line to help keep spectators at a safe distance from the playing area. Its modular design allows you to create a perimeter suited to the layout of your sports facility while maintaining visibility for spectators.
The system is designed for flat-ground installation and can be installed in straight runs along both axes of a playing field. Changes in direction should be achieved using a corner post at 90°.
What's Included?
Each SpectaRail® fencing kit includes:
- 1 x 868 Mesh Panel – 2.5m wide x 1030mm high
- 1 x Intermediate Post – 60 x 60 x 1700mm
- 1 x 48.3mm diameter tubular handrail
- Folded clamp bar
- Ribbed inserts
- Fixings
The system uses six fixings per bay, in line with SAPCA recommendations, with M8 threaded bolts securing the mesh panels.
The 48.3mm diameter handrail passes through the post and is secured using a supplied self-tapping screw to prevent rotation or removal.
Durable Galvanised Steel Construction
Manufactured from high-quality pre-galvanised steel, SpectaRail® is designed for long-lasting outdoor performance and resistance to corrosion.
The system is supplied with a professionally applied Polyester Powder Coating (PPC), available in a range of RAL colours. This provides an additional protective layer against weathering while allowing the fencing to complement its surroundings.
Custom colours are also available. Contact our sales team to discuss your requirements.
Installation
SpectaRail® is supplied as a dig-in system and requires two bags of Post Mix per post for secure installation.
The system provides 20mm ground clearance, which should be maintained during installation.
