Each of these amazing looking houses have been made from Finnish Spruce, which provides an excellent strength to weight ratio as well as being more resistant to decay and fungal attacks than some other wood types. (Though these summer houses will still need to be regularly treated to prevent rot from setting in)
Available in three sizes, 3m x 3m, 4m x 3m and 5m x 4m, allowing the Hemmingway timber buildings to fit perfectly into your garden space. Each of these timber summer houses stands at 2.4m high, providing an airy space which is further complemented by the large double-glazed windows located in the doors and one of the walls.
With the height of these timber garden office sheds being 2.4m, no planning permission is required to install one of the Hemmingway timber buildings in your garden.
These summer houses are ideal for a wide variety of uses, from a spacious storage shed, a seasonal garden summer house, garden office or even as a home bar, with plenty of space for a pool table.
Installation of these garden houses is relatively straightforward for someone who has some basical construction skills or is an avid DIY enthusiast. Supplied as a flat pack summer house for easier handling transport, each kit has full step by step instructions, with more information on installation available in our FAQ section.
Maintaining your Hemmingway timber garden house is also fairly straightforward. The walls of the house will need to be either painted or treated within the first 5 weeks of installation.
They will then need to be treated regularly. This will not only keep your summer house looking great, but to also increase the buildings life span. (please see our FAQ section for more information on maintenance)
