Post and Rail Fencing

Timber post and rail fencing is a traditional and versatile fencing option that has stood the test of time for its classic aesthetic and functional design. Timber post and rail fencing, with its sturdy posts and horizontal rails, serves a variety of purposes.

Primarily, it defines boundaries, marking property lines, paddocks, gardens, and other outdoor areas. Its open design maintains a sense of spaciousness while still establishing clear demarcations. Beyond boundaries, it finds use in practical applications like containing livestock, offering a durable and cost-effective solution with good air circulation.

We offer two pressure-treated post options, both finished in a natural tanalised green for lasting beauty:

1.8m x 125mm x 75mm: Ideal for a classic 1.2m high fence, this post provides a sturdy base for a timeless look. Perfect for gardens, boundaries, or decorative purposes.
2.1m x 125mm x 75mm: Need extra height and security? This 1.5m high option is perfect for larger areas, animal enclosures, or added privacy.

For rails, we offer the versatile option of:

3.6m x 87mm x 38mm: This long rail covers a good amount of ground and compatible with both post heights for ultimate flexibility.

Timber Knee Rail

A timber knee rail is a distinctive fencing element characterised by its graceful, curved design. Unlike straight railings, the knee rail features a "v" cut at the top, where it meets the post, creating a striking visual appeal. Made from durable timber, knee rails offer sturdy support and enhance safety around walkways, car parks and pathways.

We have everything you need to create a secure timber knee rail system! Choose from 1.8m or 3.6m rails in both 75mm x 75mm and 100mm x 100mm widths. Our 100mm x 100mm posts come in 0.9m or 1.2m heights to match your rail selection.

We also offer three post strap styles: Bishop's Hat for 100mm top rails, V-style or Shoe-style for 75mm top rails.
