Introducing the Chain Link Intermediate Post from First Fence
Intermediate posts are crucial for maintaining the integrity of a dig-in chain link mesh system, providing additional support and stability between the strainer (end) posts. They help maintain the fence's shape and tension, ensuring a strong and long-lasting installation.
This support post has a total height of 3000mm and stands at 2400mm (2.4m) once installed. Chain link is a dig-in system and requires post mix for a strong and reliable installation.
Engineered to reinforce chain link fencing, this post is installed at 3.0m intervals to ensure maximum stability. It is equipped with pre-drilled holes for high-tensile line wire, offering a secure and long-lasting fence. Perfect for both residential and commercial applications.
Hot-Dip Galvanised to ISO 1461: Coated with an 85μm zinc layer, this post offers exceptional protection against rust and weathering. This high-quality galvanisation process ensures long-term durability, making it ideal for outdoor use.
Powder Coated to BS EN 13438: Available in a green or black PPC finish. This coating improves corrosion resistance and weather protection, while providing a strong and attractive finish to extend the life of the fence.
Function of the Intermediate Post
The intermediate support post provides additional strength, preventing sagging and helping to spread tension right across the fence. Intermediate posts should be placed at 3.0m centres along the length of the fence between the end or corner posts.
