EchoAbsorb Acoustic Fencing and Gates

The EchoAbsorb range of Timber Acoustic Fencing provides a stylish and effective perimeter solution for reducing noise pollution. These high quality timber fencing panels are ideal for schools, homes and businesses. 

Unlike the EchoReflect and EchoGroove ranges of Sound Reducing Fencing, EchoAbsorb features two part panels which are specially designed to muffle and absorb noise pollution caused by motorways, main roads, train tracks or industrial sites. 

One side of the panel is designed to reflect noise, consisting of Vertical timber boards and cover strips. The other side consists of a protective membrane and rockwool, which acts to muffle and absorb sound waves, reducing noise pollution. 

The EchoAbsorb range of Acoustic Fencing has been tested by Salford University, meeting the Highways England BS EN 1793 standard for Road Traffic Noise Reducing Devices. It also complies with BS EN 1794-1 and BS EN 1794-2 standards, in line with Highways Sector Scheme 2C for the prefabrication of environmental barriers.

Each kit of EchoAbsorb Sound Absorption fencing has been made from UC4 Tanalised, pressure treated timber from an FSC certified supplier. This gives these acoustic panels a natural green colour, which can be coloured with breathable stains or paints to suit your site. 

Please note: Dig-in posts are highly recommended to ensure a strong and secure installation. 

EchoAbsorb Acoustic Timber Gates

To complement your fencing system, a 1.0m wide acoustic timber pedestrian gate is available. These gates are pre-manufactured for convenience and come in three height options: 1.8m, 2.0m, and 2.4m. Just like the acoustic fence panels, the gates are fully compliant with BS EN 1793, BS EN 1794-1, and BS EN 1794-2 standards, and are manufactured in accordance with Highways Sector Scheme 2C.
