This gate is made from aluminium and has a horizontal solid infill and a flat top. It will block visibility of what is beyond it and will add security and privacy for your family, pets and belongings. Aluminium is a very versatile medium and is well-suited to gates. It has strength and durability, yet it is lightweight too, so it is easy to install and operate. It has robust resistance to rust, so it is perfect for a product that is in fixed outdoor use, and can accept the tough weather conditions the UK often faces, particularly in winter. It is suited to the salty atmosphere of coastal regions and can withstand the damaging effects of salt corrosion well.

This gate is 1000mm wide and is available as 1.6m, 1.8m, 2.0m and 2.2m heights. Each pedestrian gate comes with 2 wall-mounted and 1 floor-mounted hinges, 1 lock and handle set, and a full-length lock keeper. Gate posts are only recommended if there is nothing to attach the gate to.

These gates are polyester powder coated in black or grey as standard, which not only gives them such a high calibre finish and look, but also gives them protection too. Non-standard colours are available upon request for an additional charge.

To keep the gates looking as good as new, they just need to be washed with soapy water and rinsed; no need for painting or treating. They come with a five-year manufacturer's guarantee from Ready Made Gates.

Please Note: The gates only open 1 way, 90 degrees inwards from outside. They can be made to open outwards, but this needs to be specified at the time of ordering, please contact us for more information.
