2.4m High RapidShield® 868 Mesh Intermediate Fencing Kit
RapidShield® is a modular fencing system designed for fast installation and removal, providing a secure solution for temporary and semi-permanent applications.
Manufactured from pre-galvanised steel, the system combines the durability of permanent fencing with the flexibility and quick installation of temporary fencing. It can be installed directly onto suitable flat ground, with no excavation, ground assessment or permanent bolting required.
RapidShield® can be configured to create a secure fence of almost any length and is also available with a green or black polyester powder coating for added protection.
To assemble the Rapid Deployment Mesh Fencing, you will need an M8 x 40mm Star Torque Bit.
High-Security 868 Mesh
The 868 mesh panel features double 8mm horizontal wires and a single 6mm vertical wire, creating a strong and dense mesh pattern that is difficult to climb.
Each 2.4m High RapidShield® 868 Mesh Intermediate Fencing Kit includes:
- 2.4m high x 2.5m wide 868 mesh panel
- Intermediate post
- 8 x M8 x 40mm mesh security bolts
- 8 x black 868 mesh fencing clips
- Black ribbed post end insert
- UniFoot ballast kit with 200kg of ballast
RapidShield® is also available in 1.8m, 2.0m and 3.0m heights.
Patented UniFoot Stabilising System
The RapidShield® UniFoot provides stability without permanent ground fixings. The kit includes 200kg of ballast and features a patented folding design with an integrated handle for easy manoeuvrability.
When not in use, the UniFoot can be neatly stacked for efficient storage.
Additional RapidShield® Products

- End post kits: For finishing your fence run
- RapidShield® site gates: For secure pedestrian and vehicle access
RapidShield® gates are available in single and double leaf configurations and feature pre-lasered holes for a safety tether, helping meet BS 12604 safety requirements. Flush-fitting drop bolts also allow for easy stacking and storage without protruding hardware.
