Step-by-Step Fitting Instructions

Discover how to fit, configure, and adjust the Locinox Lion compact hydraulic gate closer. Engineered for pedestrian gates up to 75 kg and 1.1 m wide, this compact hydraulic closer includes guide rails for both 90° and 180° hinge configurations to ensure smooth, self-closing control.

Position Drill Templates: Place alignment templates on the post and gate leaf to mark fixing points for 90° or 180° hinge setups.

Mark & Punch Points: Punch accurate drill locations using a centre punch and hammer.

Drill Fixing Holes: Drill required mounting holes into the post and gate profile.

Assemble Guide Rail: Configure the guide rail arm to match your gate hinge setup.

Configure Handing: Set internal mechanism direction for left or right-hand swing.

Mount Closer Body: Secure the Lion unit onto the post using Quick-Fix expanders.

Engage Tension & Adjust Valves: Set spring tension and tune closing speed and final snap with an Allen key.

Attach Protective Caps: Fasten protective end caps over fixing bolts and adjustment valves.
