Timber Construction Site Hoarding Calculator

Secure your perimeter with our robust and fully customisable timber hoarding panels. Designed for durability and flexibility, our hoarding systems are the ideal solution for construction sites, property developments, and event management, providing essential safety, security, and privacy.

Features and Benefits

While primarily associated with construction, timber hoarding can be used in any situation requiring a solid, temporary perimeter.

Construction & Demolition Sites: This is the most common use. It's a legal requirement (under regulations like the Construction Design and Management - CDM) to secure a site perimeter to protect the public from hazards and prevent unauthorised access.

Vacant Property Security: Used to secure empty buildings, land, or properties undergoing renovation. It deters squatters, vandals, and fly-tipping, preventing property degradation.

Retail & Shop-Fitting: When a shop, restaurant, or office is being refurbished, hoarding is erected inside a shopping centre or on the high street. It conceals the messy work, builds anticipation, and can feature "coming soon" branding.

Events & Festivals: Hoarding creates secure perimeters, blocks views to non-ticketed areas, conceals backstage and staff-only zones, and provides a solid surface for signage and crowd-flow directions.

Public Infrastructure Projects: Used to secure areas around roadworks, railway maintenance, or utility upgrades, protecting workers from traffic and the public from machinery.

Build Your Own System

Choose from a range of panel materials and finishes to perfectly match your project's budget, duration, and corporate identity.

Panel Sheet Options - Select the ideal material and thickness for your site's requirements.

Plywood Panels - A traditional and popular choice known for its smooth finish and durability. 18mm Plywood: Our heavy-duty solution, offering maximum strength, impact resistance, and security for long-term sites or high-risk areas.

OSB 3 (Oriented Strand Board) Panels - A strong, engineered-wood alternative offering excellent value and structural integrity. 18mm OSB 3: A heavy-duty option with superior strength, ideal for long-term installations and demanding environments requiring high impact resistance.

Finish & Colour Options
The main sheets, horizontal infill strips, and vertical infill strips, can be provided in a finish that suits your needs.

Unpainted - A natural, raw timber or OSB 3 finish. Ideal for sites where aesthetics are secondary or for customers who wish to apply their own branding, advertising, or paint finish on-site.

Painted Finish - A professional, durable, and weather-resistant painted finish applied prior to delivery.

Backstays/Raking Props - For additional support, the timber posts can also be used as a backstay or raking prop, when cut at an angle, fixed to the post and concreted into the ground.  Use one every second post.
