Complete your site perimeter with our 150mm x 22mm Horizontal Infill Strips. Often referred to as skirting, kick boards, or capping, these timber strips are the final step in the "Build Your Own" system, designed to conceal rough edges, seal gaps, and frame your hoarding for a smart, uniform appearance.
Supplied in extra-long 4800mm (approx 16ft) lengths, these strips are designed for maximum efficiency, spanning across two standard 2.4m bays in a single run to minimise joints and installation time.
Protective Kick Board: When installed at the bottom of the hoarding, this 150mm wide strip acts as a sacrificial "gravel board." It bridges the gap between the panel and the ground, preventing rodent entry and protecting the main Plywood or OSB sheet from rising damp and ground moisture.
Header & Capping: When used at the top of the hoarding, it creates a clean horizontal line that hides the raw top edge of the sheets, preventing water ingress into the end-grain of the plywood/OSB and extending the life of the panel.
Seamless Installation: The 4.8m length is specifically sized to cover two standard panels (2440mm widths) continuously. This reduces the number of cuts required and creates a straighter, stronger finish than using shorter off-cuts.
Rough Sawn Aesthetic: Matches the texture of the posts and rails, providing a consistent look across the back or front of the system.
These strips are versatile and can be used in multiple positions on the hoarding face:
Bottom (Skirt/Kick Board): Fixed horizontally along the base of the hoarding to cover the gap between the sheet and the ground.
Top (Header/Facia): Fixed horizontally along the top edge to "frame" the system.
Mid-Rail Cover: Can be used to cover horizontal joints if panels are being stacked vertically.
