Eliminate gaps and draft points in your perimeter fencing with our 50mm x 22mm Vertical Infill Strips. Designed as the essential connector for the "Build Your Own" system, these timber cover strips are fixed over the joints where two hoarding sheets meet, ensuring a completely solid and private boundary.
Measuring exactly 2400mm (8ft) in length, these strips match the standard height of our Plywood and OSB sheets perfectly, requiring no cutting or modification for a standard installation.
Total Privacy & Security: Even with the best installation, small expansion gaps are left between hoarding sheets. This strip covers those vertical seams, blocking all lines of sight into the site and preventing prying eyes from finding a weak point.
Weather Protection: By sealing the joint, you prevent wind from whistling through the fence (which can weaken the structure) and stop rain from driving into the edges of the Plywood or OSB, protecting the end-grain from water damage.
Aesthetic Framing: These strips break up the long flat run of hoarding, creating a smart "paneled" effect. This adds a professional rhythm to the fence line, making the site look tidy and well-managed.
Perfect Fit: The 2400mm length acts as a full-height cover strip, running from the top rail to the bottom kick board in one continuous piece.
The vertical strips are the final component in securing the face of the hoarding:
The Joint: Hoarding sheets are typically installed with a slight 2-3mm expansion gap between them.
The Fix: This 50mm wide strip is nailed vertically over that gap, directly into the post behind it.
The Result: It clamps the edges of both sheets firmly against the post, reducing vibration and concealing the join completely.
