Maximise the stability and ease of installation of your site fencing with our 150mm x 100mm x 3600mm Timber Hoarding Posts. This robust, rectangular profile is a popular choice for contractors requiring a substantial surface area for fixing rails and exceptional structural performance.
The 3.6m (12ft) length allows for deep ground burial, ensuring your hoarding remains upright and secure against wind loads and site activity.
Wide Fixing Face (150mm): The wide 150mm face provides a larger surface area. This makes joining horizontal rails significantly easier, giving you ample room to stagger joints where rails meet the post without splitting the timber.
Heavy-Duty Profile: The substantial 150mm x 100mm dimension offers excellent resistance to bending and wind pressure, making it suitable for exposed sites or higher-risk areas.
Pressure Treated for Longevity: These C24 posts are fully pressure treated (tanalised) to protect against rot, fungal decay, and insect attack. This is essential for any timber installed directly into the ground or concrete.
Optimised Length: The 3600mm length is designed to support standard 2.4m (8ft) hoarding sheets, allowing roughly 900mm-1200mm to be concreted into the ground for maximum anchorage.
These posts form the anchor of your timber hoarding line:
Dig In: Posts are set into the ground at standard intervals.
Frame: Horizontal rails are fixed across the 150mm face, creating a flat, sturdy framework for your plywood or OSB sheets.
