The end strainer post kit from First Fence is a collection of all the essential items: an end strainer post (hot dip galvanised/PPC green or black options) measuring 1500mm total length x 50 x 50mm RSA (this comes with 40 x 40mm struts suited to the system height chosen), a chain link stretcher bar (30 x 5mm), support and cross beam, x2 ferrule winders and x3 M8 x 20mm BZP hex had bolts and nuts.
Strainer posts are designed to provide superior strength and stability at the end of your chain link fence. This end post includes three bolt-on ferrule winders, ensuring consistent tension throughout the fence line for a secure and durable installation. This post has a dig in the base plate on the post end, which adds extra stability to the system.
The post is hot-dip galvanised (HDG) to ISO 1461, featuring a protective coating with a minimum thickness of 85µ for outstanding resistance to rust and corrosion. HDG products are highly durable, making them perfect for long-term outdoor use. Additionally, the posts are available powder-coated to BS EN 13438 in a green finish or black. This coating further enhances corrosion resistance and weather protection while delivering a durable and visually appealing finish for a long-lasting fencing solution.
