Chain Link Intermediate Post [1500mm x 50 x 50 x 5mm RSA] | 1 |
Chain link fencing is a popular choice due to its strength, affordability, and versatility. Commonly used for security, boundary marking, sports enclosures, and animal containment, it provides a durable yet less obtrusive alternative to other fencing options. Constructed from galvanised steel or PVC-coated wire, it offers excellent weather resistance and long-lasting performance.
Also referred to as wire netting, wire-mesh fencing, chain-wire fencing, hurricane or diamond-mesh fencing, this woven design is available in various heights and requires minimal maintenance after installation, making it a highly cost-effective solution.
Intermediate support posts play a crucial role in the structure of a dig-in chain link fencing system, providing support and stability between strainer (end) posts. They help maintain the shape and tension of the fence while ensuring a secure and long-lasting installation.
This intermediate post measures 1500mm in total height and 900mm (0.9m) when installed. Please note that this is a dig-in only system and requires post mix.
Intermediate Support Post – Specifically designed to reinforce chain link fencing, this post is installed at 3.0m intervals for optimal stability. It features pre-drilled through-holes for high-tensile line wire, ensuring a secure and long-lasting fencing system. Suitable for both residential and commercial applications.
Hot-Dip Galvanised to ISO 1461 – Coated with a minimum protective layer of 85μm, providing superior resistance to rust and corrosion. This high-quality galvanisation ensures exceptional durability, making it ideal for long-term outdoor use.
Powder Coated to BS EN 13438 – Available in Green or Black. This advanced coating enhances corrosion resistance and weather protection while delivering a durable and visually appealing finish for extended fencing longevity.
The intermediate post adds structural support, preventing sagging and helping to distribute tension evenly across the fence. Intermediate posts are recommended to be placed at 3.0m centres along the fencing structure between the end or corner posts.
