MUGAPlay® Secure 38 Rebound MUGA Kit Without Gate
MUGAs, or Multi Use Games Areas, are increasingly popular with schools or sports facilities that have limited space available. They very effectively optimise this space and enable a wide range of sports and recreational activities be offered to people of all ages and skill sets. This type of product is particularly useful in urban areas or indeed anywhere with constrained outdoor space. They remove the need for the construction of separate facilities for each sport, so are very cost-effective.
MUGAs have purpose-built flooring, which enables year-round use. This flooring is often marked for specific sports, making it very easy to change between activity sessions. Multi Use Games Areas foster physical fitness and promote active lifestyles by offering accessible areas for exercise and recreation. They also encourage community engagement, providing a venue for collective activity participation. They are also safe and controlled environments for sports practice and play, lessening the risk of injury caused by uneven or unsuitable surfaces.

First Fence is pleased to present a selection of MUGAs available as full kits. Simply choose between the MUGAPlay® Mini, MUGAPlay® Secure 35, and MUGAPlay® Secure 38. Please note that this kit does not contain the flooring or markings.
The MUGAPlay® Secure 38 without Gate will establish an efficient play area spanning 38m x 18m, which is ideal for volleyball, basketball, football, hockey, tennis and netball. This MUGA kit includes two fencing gaps designed to facilitate access and entry. This feature is particularly suitable for community areas where it is not necessary to secure the MUGA at all times. Each fencing gap is set halfway down the length of the court, and opposite each other.
The MUGAPlay® Secure 38 without Gate is manufactured using 868 Rebound Fencing panels crafted from pre-galvanised steel, renowned for their intrinsic durability and rebound characteristics. The Rebound Mesh features additional wires, creating a tightly woven mesh pattern capable of absorbing the impact from a forcefully struck ball. This design not only enhances its rebound properties but also facilitates the swift return of the ball into play.
This MUGA kit is in dig-in format and will require Post Mix to secure the posts into the ground for a sound and long-lasting installation. This can be added to your order. The kit is supplied with a standard green polyester powder coating. However, if you prefer, you can select from a variety of RAL colours to match an existing system or create a lively, vibrant appearance.
While MUGAs demand minimal maintenance, ensuring product longevity necessitates routine cleaning, inspection, and occasional repairs.
