MUGAPlay® Secure 38 Rebound MUGA Kit with Gate
Multi-Use Games Areas (MUGAs), designated spaces for sports, are enclosures with surfaces that accommodate a diverse range of athletic and recreational activities within one location. Also referred to as sports courts or ball cages, MUGAs effectively optimise limited space, enabling individuals of various ages and skill levels to engage in physical activities and sports. They are particularly advantageous in urban areas, schools, or sports facilities with constrained outdoor space and eliminate the need for constructing separate facilities for each sport, thus proving cost-effective.
MUGAs often have court markings and equipment for different sports, making it easy to transition between activity sessions. These areas promote physical fitness and active lifestyles by providing accessible spaces for exercise and recreation. Additionally, they foster social interaction and community engagement, serving as venues for collective sports participation. Moreover, MUGAs offer safe and controlled environments for sports practice and play, mitigating the risk of injuries associated with uneven or unsuitable surfaces.

First Fence now presents a selection of MUGAs available as full kits. Select between the MUGAPlay® Mini, MUGAPlay® Secure 35, and MUGAPlay® Secure 38. Please note that these kits do not come with the pitch ground surface.
The MUGAPlay® Secure 38 with Gate will create an effective play area measuring 38m x 18m, which is ideal for volleyball, basketball, football, hockey, tennis and netball. This MUGA kit comes with two gates to allow access and entry; these also allow the MUGA to be locked up when not in use (add a heavy-duty padlock to your order for extra security). Each gate is set halfway down the length of the court, and opposite each other.
The MUGAPlay® Secure 38 is constructed using 868 Rebound Fencing panels crafted from galvanised steel, renowned for their intrinsic durability and rebound characteristics. The Rebound Mesh features additional wires, creating a tightly woven mesh pattern capable of absorbing the impact from a forcefully struck ball. This design not only enhances its rebound properties but also facilitates the swift return of the ball into play.
This MUGA kit is in dig-in format and will require Post Mix to secure the posts into the ground for a sound and long-lasting installation. This can be added to your order. The kit is supplied with a standard green polyester powder coating. However, if you prefer, you can select from a variety of RAL colours to match an existing system or create a lively, vibrant appearance.
The mesh panels are fixed to the posts with a clamp bar system, which gives a very secure, anti-tamper finish.
While MUGAs demand minimal maintenance, ensuring product longevity necessitates routine cleaning, inspection, and occasional repairs. Add a can of touch up spray paint to deal with any scuffs or scrapes to preserve the integrity of your MUGA.
