MUGAPlay® Secure 35 Rebound MUGA Kit With Gate
MUGAs, or Multi Use Games Areas, are dedicated zones for sport, designed with a surface that supports a diverse range of sports and recreational activities within one location; they are also known as sports courts or ball cages.
Communities can optimise limited space through the versatility of these multi-use sport courts, enabling individuals of diverse ages and skill levels to participate in physical activities and sports. They are beneficial in urban areas or for schools or sports facilities with limited outdoor space, and they are cost-effective as separate facilities do not need to be constructed for each sport. MUGAs often have markings and equipment tailored to different sports, making it easy for users to transition between activities.
There are many benefits to MUGAs; they promote physical fitness and active lifestyles by providing accessible spaces for exercise and recreation. Additionally, MUGAs encourage social interaction and community engagement as people come together to participate in sports and activities. They also offer a safe and controlled environment for sports practice and play, reducing the risk of injuries associated with playing on uneven or unsuitable surfaces.

First Fence is delighted to introduce a range of MUGAs that come in complete kit form. Choose from the MUGAPlay® Secure 35 with or without a gate, the MUGAPlay® Secure 38 with or without a gate, or the MUGAPlay® Mini. Please note that this kit is the fencing only and does not come with the ground surface.
The MUGAPlay® Secure 35 with Gate will create a play area measuring 35m x 17m, which is ideal for football, hockey, tennis and netball. This multi-sport court kit comes with two gates to allow access and entry; these also allow the MUGA to be locked up when not in use (add a heavy-duty padlock to your order for extra security). Each gate is set halfway down the length of the court.
The MUGAPlay® Secure 35 is manufactured using 868 Rebound Fencing panels, made from galvanised steel, which have inherent strength and rebound properties. Rebound Mesh has extra wires that form a close, dense mesh pattern that can absorb the shock from a ball striking it with force, and this also gives a high rebound property that helps the ball be quickly brought back into play.
This MUGA kit is in dig-in format and will require Post Mix to secure the posts into the ground for a sound and long-lasting installation. This can be added to your order. The kit comes in a green polyester powder coating as standard; however, you can also choose from a range of RAL colours should you wish to match an existing system or create a fun, vibrant look.
The mesh panels are fixed to the posts with a clamp bar system, which gives a very secure, anti-tamper finish.
MUGAs require minimal maintenance; however, regular cleaning, inspection, and occasional repairs will ensure product longevity. Add a can of touch up spray paint to deal with any scuffs or scrapes as they occur.
