MD102-30 Probe Magnetic Field Vehicle Detector
The MD102-30 is a magnetic resistance probe designed to measure the Earth's magnetic field. It detects changes in the field caused by the presence of a vehicle, triggering a signal output. This probe measures the magnetic field along three axes: X, Y, and Z.
This probe can be buried in the road surface and can be used to produce a pulse output or a presence output. The presence output will detect the vehicle indefinitely.
The MD102-30 is specifically designed for parking and access control applications, offering a cost-effective vehicle detection solution to enable the automatic opening of security gates. It requires minimal cutting into the road surface for installation.
The MD102C is a control unit that facilitates the configuration and testing of the MD102. Configuration is managed via DIP switches, while LEDs provide visual indications of the probe's operation. A relay output activates when a vehicle is detected. It is recommended that this be purchased with the MD102 series vehicle detectors.
