Composite Deck Trims

Wood Plastic Composite (WPC) Deck Trim is the all-important finishing component for any WPC decking project.  It serves both an aesthetic and functional purpose, ensuring a professional finish and enhancing the deck's life expectancy.

It is made from the same durable blend of recycled bamboo fibres and recycled plastic as the main deck boards, offering matching colours, textures and the same low-maintenance benefits.

This WPC corner deck trim is an L-shaped piece that is used to neatly cover the exposed edges where two fascia boards meet at a 90° corner, or where the deck meets an adjacent wall or post.  It gives a seamless, high-end finish that conceals the cut ends of the fascia and any minor gaps.

Choose Your Style

The deck trim from First Fence is available in both the ‘Essential’ and ‘Advanced’ ranges with colours and textures to match the decking board. Choose from Grey, Teak, Chocolate, or Charcoal to perfectly complement your chosen deck colour palette.

Deck trim is generally face-fastened to the deck's rim joists with composite deck trim screws or fascia-specific screws (these are not supplied with the WPC products).  Pre-drill your pilot holes and use colour-matched screws for a cohesive finish.

Important Installation Note: Because WPC materials expand and contract with temperature changes, it is essential to pre-drill your pilot holes to prevent splitting. Use colour-matched screws and follow the manufacturer’s guidance on screw placement to allow the board to move naturally, ensuring a cohesive and long-lasting finish free from warping or buckling.  Allow expansion gaps of 3-7mm between boards.
