Bambura® Wood Plastic Composite (WPC) Decking is a popular and sustainable choice for outdoor decks. This line is made with recycled plastic and highly renewable bamboo fibres, giving you the desirable natural look of wood combined with the durability and low maintenance of a modern composite.

The Bambura® Advanced Deck Trim in Grey offers the stylish appearance of weathered hardwood, creating a modern and adaptable base for any outdoor space. Its colour is designed to stay vibrant, resisting the fading common with natural materials.

This composite wood deck trim measures 50 x 50mm x 3600mm and comes in a pack of 10.  Deck trim is an important accessory for a decking project, giving a neat and finished look to the edges of the deck area.  These deck trim boards cover the exposed ends of the decking boards and the underlying subframe.  The fascia trim also acts in a protective manner, preventing any debris from collecting underneath the deck.

The Bambura® Advanced deck trim is a co-extrusion WPC trim, a high-performance product that uses advanced manufacturing technology to enhance the durability and aesthetic appeal of standard WPC.  Co-extrusion is a manufacturing process where two or more different materials are simultaneously extruded through a single die to form a single, multi-layered product. Each layer retains its own properties, allowing the final product to combine the strengths of different materials.

The core material of the advanced deck trim is made of recycled bamboo fibres and plastic (HDPE), combining the natural look of wood with the resistance of plastic.  The outer layer is a durable, 360° polymer shell that is co-extruded, or simultaneously moulded onto the WPC core.  This protective cap completely encapsulates the board.  This outer layer acts as a shield, making this decking superior to first-generation, uncapped WPC.

This product offers enhanced weather resistance; the 360° cap protects the core from the elements, dramatically reducing water absorption and preventing cracking, warping and rotting.  It also offers UV and fade resistance, helping the colour to remain stable over time.  It is designed to withstand a wide range of temperatures and unlike wood, it generally doesn't need sanding, staining or painting.  It can be cleaned by using soap and water.  The non-porous polymer surface repels water, preventing the growth of mould and mildew.  The composite material is resistant to insect infestation.
