The wood plastic composite (WPC) flat fascia board is a finishing element that is designed for the perimeter of WPC decking systems. It is a thin, wide, non-structural board that serves as the essential finishing layer for the vertical faces of your deck structure.
Made from the same robust, low-maintenance mix of recycled bamboo fibres and waste plastic as the decking, the flat fascia trims provide a seamless, long-lasting finish.
Available in a choice of colour and texture (e.g., Grey, Teak, Chocolate, Charcoal) that perfectly match or complement the Bambura® WPC decking line, providing a seamless, uniform aesthetic. The board’s consistent, clean surface conceals the rougher components of the sub-frame.
The fascia board is an important aspect of a professional, finished deck installation. Its primary purpose is to wrap the exterior of the deck frame, concealing the outer supports and exposed board ends to create a clean, polished ‘skirted’ finish.
Each trim measures 140mm x 11mm x 3600mm and comes in a pack of 5.
The flat fascia trim is available in an ‘Essential’ and ‘Advanced’ variety to match the style of the decking boards.
Deck trim is typically face-fastened to the deck’s rim joists using composite deck trim screws or fascia-specific screws (note: these are not included with WPC products). Pre-drill pilot holes and use colour-matched screws for a smooth, professional finish.
Since WPC materials naturally expand and contract with temperature fluctuations, always pre-drill pilot holes to prevent cracking or splitting. Follow the manufacturer’s screw spacing and placement guidelines, using colour-matched screws for a clean finish. This allows the trim to move as needed, maintaining a smooth, durable finish that resists warping or buckling over time.
