Overview

B&M Bargains were looking for a high security fencing and gate solution that would prevent any intruders from accessing the site when it was closed.

Challenges

• Security: The fencing needed to be intimidating and offer a high level of security for the business, while still offering a good level of visibility.
• Durability: The fencing solution that they chose needed to be long-lasting and robust, so that this wasn’t a cost they were having to incur on a regular basis.
• Appearance: The client needed the fencing solution to look intimidating and act as a deterrent to any potential planned or opportunistic intruders.
• Timely Manner: The contractor was required to complete this job efficiently so that there wasn’t any chance of people getting in while the security fencing wasn’t installed.

Solutions

Yeomans Projects looked at the range of fencing we have available and decided to go with a mix of products to make sure the premises were extremely secure.

They opted for our pre-galvanised mesh panels, which are designed to make climbing or entering the premises difficult. They are cost effective, and with no powder coating, can look a little more intimidating to the general public.

To add to the mesh fencing panels, the contractor decided to go with our cranked angle brackets that are able to attach barbed wire too. This would add an extra deterrent and preventative measure to the fencing system.

The use of the barbed wire will add height to the fencing, and as the wire is supplied in galvanised steel, it will have a longer lifespan due to protection against rust.

As the items were in stock at First Fence, the customer was able to have the fencing solution quickly and without any disruption to the business.

Conclusion

B&M Bargains now has an intimidating fencing solution that will deter any potential intruders or those trying to access a site that shouldn’t be. The addition of the wire roll will also make it difficult to climb, providing them with the security levels required.
