450mm Concertina Razor Wire
450mm Concertina Razor Wire provides a highly effective deterrent for sites requiring additional perimeter security. Manufactured from high-tensile steel and designed with sharp, snagging blades, it makes climbing and breaching boundaries significantly more difficult.
Suitable for use on walls, fences and gates, razor wire can be added to existing security measures to increase the difficulty of unauthorised access.
Strong, Rigid Construction
The razor wire features a wide central band for increased rigidity, with sharp blades positioned at intervals along its length. The sharper profile and high-tensile construction make it significantly more difficult to cut through than standard barbed wire.
The wire is also galvanised, helping protect against rust and corrosion for long-term outdoor use. Each unit is supplied as a 10m long coil with:
- 450mm (18") coil diameter
- 400mm (15.7") stretched profile
- High-tensile steel construction
- Sharp, snagging and piercing blades
- Galvanised finish for corrosion resistance
Secure Concertina Design
Razor wire is supplied in a concertina-style coil, creating an accordion-like barrier when installed. We recommend using 3 clips to connect adjacent loops.
This helps:
- Increase the rigidity and stability of the coil
- Prevent loops from being separated or manipulated
- Strengthen the overall security barrier
- Make installation quicker and easier
Once installed, the interconnected loops create a difficult-to-cross physical barrier that can significantly impede attempts to scale or breach a perimeter.
High-Security Applications
Concertina Razor Wire is commonly used for sites requiring a high level of perimeter protection, including:

Razor wire requires little to no maintenance once correctly installed.
UK Installation & Safety
When correctly installed, razor wire is legal to use in the UK, although there may be restrictions relating to domestic properties. Property owners are responsible for ensuring that its use does not infringe criminal or civil law.
Razor wire is extremely sharp and must be handled with care. Specialist protective equipment should always be worn during installation, including:
- Specialist gloves or protective gauntlets
- Face protection
- Suitable body protection
