7.0ft Wide 7-Rail Farm Gate Kit

The Farm Gate Kits from First Fence are available in the following widths 3ft, 4ft, 5ft, 6ft, 7ft, 8ft, 9ft, 10ft, 11ft, 12ft, 13ft, 14ft, 15ft and 16ft. Manufactured from galvanised steel they are a classic 7-rail design that is seen frequently as a gateway to fields and farm premises. The horizontal rails are welded to 50mm x 50mm and 50mm x 25mm box sections which brace the gate and make it a very sturdy and heavy-duty construction. The rails at the lower half of the gate are closer together and this helps to prevent small livestock from escaping the field or enclosure.
The metal farm gate comes with a Spring Bolt Kit to securely close it. This comprises a Slider Latch Bar, a compression spring, M20 Flat Washer and a tension pin. This does not require bolting to the gate, it fits easily through the drilled holes in the structure.
The Kit includes two Adjustable Gate Eyes which enable the gate to be altered to suit a gradient or uneven ground. The two posts are 114.3mm (4.5") in overall diameter and are made of galvanised steel, the Hanging Post has two lugs to hang the leaf on.
The Farm Gate Kit is a dig in format product and will need to be concreted into the ground substance. First Fence stocks Post Mix that is perfect for this job. The ground clearance of the gate may vary depending on the ground conditions.
