A robust, metal farm gate is important when controlling livestock and for general security of premises. The 7-rail galvanised Farm Gate from First Fence is a superb choice but to ensure its longevity it needs to hang on an equally sturdy post.
The Hanging Post available from First Fence is manufactured from galvanised steel so will be able to readily endure the changes in weather and temperature that face a product sited permanently outdoors. These posts are also know as Hinge Posts.
It has an actual length of 2000mm with a recommended dig in of 600mm. It is a round post with a diameter of 114.3mm (4.5"). It is a dig in format so will need Post Mix which is available as a single or multi-purchase.
First Fence has a Farm Gate Kit available which contains all the components required to erect a new gate for your field or road opening. This includes a gate leaf, hanging and slotted posts, spring bolt kit and adjustable gate eyes. The individual components are also available so if you need a replacement we have you covered.
