3.0ft Wide 7-Rail Farm Gate Kit
Metal Farm and Field Gates are essential for control of livestock, vehicles and for security of agricultural property generally. Agricultural gates must be able to withstand changing weather and temperature and to be able to endure harsh treatment, but a good quality heavy-duty galvanised field gate can last for many years if manufactured well, securely fastened into place and routinely maintained.
The 3.0 ft Wide 7-Rail Farm Gate Kit from First Fence is manufactured from galvanised steel which will ensure it remains rust-free. The Kit comprises a Gate Leaf, Hanging Post, Slotted Post, Adjustable Gate Eyes, Spring Bolt Kit and Ribbed Inserts.
The Gate Leaf is a 7-tubular-rail format, the rails at the bottom of the gate are closer together which helps prevent smaller livestock from escaping. Box section bracing welded into the rails make this a very robust farm gate. It measures 915mm wide (3ft) and is 1145mm high (3.7ft). The Hinge Post measures 2000mm actual length (600mm minimum dig in) with an overall diameter of 114.3mm (4.5").
The width of the gate opening is an important consideration, a gateway should easily accommodate machines and equipment or just pedestrian access and this will determine the width of gate you need. First Fence can supply a gate from 3ft to 16ft wide.
This Galvanised steel farm gate kit is only available as a dig in format and will require Post Mix to secure the posts into softer ground substance. Ground clearance may vary depending on ground conditions.
Available to purchase separately are Spring Bolts, Hanging Posts and Slotted Posts.
The Farm Gate Kit is available in the following widths 3ft, 4ft, 5ft, 6ft, 7ft, 8ft, 9ft, 10ft, 11ft, 12ft, 13ft, 14ft, 15ft and 16ft.
