2.0m EchoGroove Reflective Acoustic Fencing Kit
Please note, this kit does not come with fixings. For fixing to timber posts you will need 8 M10 x 150mm Coach Screws and approximately 210 64mm stainless steel nails that are appropriate for your own nail gun.

Timber structures and barriers prove highly effective in absorbing and reflecting sound, playing a vital role in reducing noise levels across various applications. These barriers seamlessly blend with exterior designs, offering a warm and inviting aesthetic.
Our 2.0m EchoGroove Reflective Acoustic Fencing Kit reflects noise off its profile. The kit, available in loose form, is easily assembled on-site (also available as a pre-assembled format), featuring a carefully designed, gapless profile to prevent sound transmission.
Features and Benefits
These Timber Acoustic Fencing Screens offer a simple solution for homeowners, house builders, and local authorities dealing with traffic noise. Ideal for busy areas or businesses where minimising noise is essential.
Independently tested by Salford University to meet Highways England requirements (BS EN 1793), the screens are compliant with BS EN 1794-1, BS EN 1794-2, and Highways Sector Scheme 2C for environmental barriers.
Manufactured from Tanalised (UC4) pressure-treated timber from an FSC certified supplier, the natural pale green colour complements any setting. The wood undergoes surface incising at the manufacturer's location, a crucial step for ensuring optimal preservative protection, especially for timber in ground contact.
Installation is straightforward, with tongue & groove boards interlocking firmly into place. You will need to select either a timber or steel post. This is a dig in only format.
Installation is relatively simple, once the posts are in place fit the horizontal acoustic tongue & groove boards to the posts and build to the required height by interlocking together. Post centres are 2.4m.
These panels are suitable for painting with a breathable stain or paint. It's advised to clear vegetation where the acoustic fencing will be installed. Avoid installation in areas prone to water accumulation.
The timber acoustic barriers have a 30 years desired service life offered by the manufacturer and are designed to be maintenance free, subject to correct installation. Consult a structural engineer to determine wind loading specifications tailored to your precise location.
