VIDEX MTPAD Standalone Keypad & Proximity Fob Reader
The VIDEX MTPAD is a keypad with a built-in proximity fob reader designed for access control systems. It is ideal for many types of settings, including residential buildings or small offices where secure, controlled access is needed.
It's a small, compact unit, ideal for installations where space is limited or a discreet appearance is preferred. The reader is designed to endure a range of environmental conditions, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
The VIDEX proximity reader operates by scanning fobs or cards. Users simply present their fob or card near the reader to gain access. The MTPAD functions independently, without requiring a connection to a network or central controller.
These low-profile standalone proximity readers can read Mifare type cards or fobs and support up to 2,500 users.
All electronics are housed within the unit itself, eliminating the need for an external controller. The MTPAD features a push-to-exit input and both visual and audible indicators for easy programming.
Programming is carried out through the use of a Master and a delete card. User cards may be deleted by use of a shadow card if lost or stolen.
