Learn how to fit, wire, and configure the Locinox Venus-S motorised gate closer with a sliding arm. Engineered specifically for pedestrian swing gates mounted on standard posts, this step-by-step guide demonstrates complete mechanical fitting and electrical setup.
Position Drill Templates: Align installation templates on the post profile and gate leaf to mark accurate drill locations.
Drill Fixing Holes: Drill 15 mm mounting holes into the post profile and the top gate rail.
Mount Drive Body: Slot the Venus-S motor unit onto the post profile and secure.
Connect Electrical Wiring: Feed power cables through and wire into the integrated controller terminals.
Assemble Sliding Arm: Attach the sliding arm adapter to the motor shaft at a 90° angle.
Install Guide Rail: Mount the sliding rail channel onto the gate leaf profile.
Secure & Test: Connect the arm roller into the sliding channel, tighten securing bolts using hex keys, and test automated cycle performance.
