Features and Benefits
Twin mesh is a very recognisable product; it is formed from 8mm horizontal wires crossed by 6mm vertical and creates a close mesh that acts as a sturdy barrier yet has good visibility through it. It is ideal for low to medium security needs and is often seen around schools, play areas and sports venues. It is a dependable solution and is very highly utilised in public settings.
This type of mesh is difficult to climb due to the small gaps in it and large objects cannot be passed through these, making it a very good intruder deterrent, particularly the taller height products. It is also difficult to cut with standard tools.
A 1.2m x 4.0m Twin Mesh Double Leaf Gate allows you to control the traffic in and out of your site via one vehicle access point. It is wide enough for vehicles such as forklifts, cars, and small vans to fit through in one line of traffic. It has two leaves that can be opened singly or together. To keep the gate secure simply lower both drop bolts and shift the sliding latch bolt into place. Heavy duty padlocks are also available from First Fence for some extra security.
First Fence offers a wide range of RAL colours, if you wanted a less common colour there would be a slightly longer lead time. Powder coating gives the gates a more colourful finish, which increases its visibility if safety is a concern for your site.
Included In This Kit
The kit comes complete with everything you should need for a quick and easy fitting, including gate leaf, gate posts, adjustable gate eyes, ribbed inserts and a drop bolt, however ground anchor bolts and post mix are additional purchases. We do recommend Bolt Down Posts if you have harder ground and Dig-In Posts if you have softer ground.
Please Note: When attaching your gate to our mesh fencing, additional M8 x 40mm bolts and mesh fencing clips will be required.
