Chain Link Intermediate Post [1800mm x 50 x 50 x 5mm RSA] | 1 |
Chain link fencing is widely favoured for its strength, affordability, and versatility. It's commonly used for security, marking boundaries, sports enclosures, and containing animals, offering a strong and unobtrusive alternative to other fencing types. Made from galvanised steel or PVC-coated wire, it provides excellent resistance to weather and ensures long-term performance.
Known also as wire-mesh fencing, wire netting or diamond-mesh fencing, this woven mesh design comes in a variety of heights and requires little maintenance once installed, making it an economical and practical solution.
Intermediate support posts are essential to the integrity of a dig-in chain link fencing system, offering support and stability between the strainer (end) posts. They help preserve the fence's shape and tension, ensuring a secure and durable installation.
This post has a total height of 1800mm and stands at 1200mm (1.2m) once installed. Please note, it is designed for a dig-in system and requires post mix for installation.
Intermediate Support Post – Designed to strengthen chain link fencing, this post is placed at 3.0m intervals to provide maximum stability. It comes with pre-drilled holes for high-tensile line wire, ensuring a strong and durable fence. Ideal for both residential and commercial use.
Hot-Dip Galvanised to ISO 1461 – This features a protective zinc layer of 85μm, providing excellent resistance to rust and weathering. This premium galvanisation process delivers outstanding longevity, making it perfectly suited for enduring outdoor applications.
Powder Coated to BS EN 13438 – This post comes in an optional green or black finish. This coating gives additional rust resistance and protection from harsh weather while providing a durable and visually appealing finish that will give the product a long lifespan.
The intermediate post adds extra strength, preventing sagging and ensuring that tension is evenly distributed across the fence. It is recommended to install intermediate posts at 3.0m intervals between the end or corner posts along the fence.
