EnviroProtect® SR1 (A1) LPS 1175 1.8m High Railing Post Kit
The EnviroProtect® SR1 (A1) 1.8m Railing Post Kit from First Fence is a tested, security-rated option designed to deliver strength and reliability. Built to integrate seamlessly with three-rail security railing systems, this post kit is a practical choice for schools, commercial premises, and light industrial environments, combining proven performance with a neat, professional finish.
Certified Security Performance
Independently tested to LPS 1175 SR1 (A1), this system is capable of resisting at least 60 seconds of forced entry attempts using Category A hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, and small pliers. This crucial delay helps support wider site security measures by providing time for alarms to activate, CCTV to record incidents, or security teams to respond.
Robust Materials and Finish
Each post is manufactured from pre-galvanised steel with a 60x60mm box section profile, offering both strength and long-term corrosion resistance. In line with BS EN 10346 standards, the pre-galvanised surface can also be polyester powder coated in a wide selection of RAL colours, adding extra protection against the elements while enhancing the overall site appearance.
Flexible Installation Options
To accommodate different ground conditions, two post versions are available:
- Bolt-down (1800mm length): for secure fixing onto hard surfaces such as concrete.
- Dig-in (2500mm length): ideal for softer terrain, installed with concrete for added stability.
First Fence also supplies compatible fixings and post mix to help streamline the installation process.
Designed for Three-Rail Systems
This post kit has been specifically engineered to support three-rail railing systems and comes supplied with black ribbed inserts for a neat, finished look. It’s a versatile option suited to perimeters around schools, utility buildings, and light commercial premises where tested SR1-rated security is required.
