Gate Hinge for Temporary Fencing Panel
The Gate Hinge can be used in conjunction with the Castor Assembly Kit to turn a temporary fencing panel into a gate. This gate hinge is a quick and convenient way to convert a temporary fencing panel into a gate, which is perfect for busy sites where entrances and exits may need to be moved regularly. The kit can be easily installed and removed if access is no longer required.
The gate hinge should be attached to the top of two fence posts located together. This allows a panel to pivot through 180°. The Castor Assembly Kit should be bolted to one leg of a temporary fencing panel, while the other leg of the panel should be fitted into the temporary fencing feet (concrete or thermoplastic). This will allow the panel to pivot and move smoothly over the ground while providing stability to the Gate Hinge itself.
Galvanized steel is used to construct the gate hinge, providing an added layer of protection against weather conditions and rust.
IMPORTANT: This gate hinge is not compatible with Round Top Temporary Fencing Panels, as it needs to be attached at the top of the post, which is not possible for round top fencing. Additionally, this gate hinge does not come with a castor wheel, and a Castor Assembly Kit will need to be purchased separately.
