Gate Hinge for Temporary Fencing Panel
The Gate Hinge for Temporary Fencing Panels is an essential component for creating a functional and secure access point within your temporary fencing system. Designed to be used alongside the Castor Assembly Kit, this hinge allows you to convert a standard temporary fencing panel into a fully operational gate, offering easy access for vehicles and personnel while maintaining site security.
This gate hinge is a practical solution for construction sites, event perimeters, and restricted access areas where controlled entry and exit points are required. Unlike traditional fixed gates, this conversion method enables flexibility, allowing gates to be repositioned or removed entirely when access is no longer needed.
Easy Installation & Functionality
Installing the Gate Hinge is a straightforward process. It should be securely attached to the top of two adjacent temporary fencing posts. Once installed, the hinge enables the attached fencing panel to pivot up to 180 degrees, creating a wide and accessible opening.
To complete the gate conversion, a Castor Assembly Kit must be installed. This kit includes a castor wheel, which attaches to the bottom of the fencing panel, allowing it to swing open and close smoothly. One leg of the panel should be bolted to the castor assembly, while the other leg fits securely into a standard temporary fencing foot (compatible with both concrete and thermoplastic feet). This setup provides stability and support, ensuring the gate remains functional and secure.

Manufactured from galvanised steel, the Gate Hinge for Temporary Fencing Panels is built to withstand harsh weather conditions and provide long-term durability. The galvanisation process protects the steel from rust and corrosion, ensuring the hinge remains strong and reliable even in challenging outdoor environments.
Please note: This gate hinge is not compatible with Round Top Temporary Fencing Panels, as it needs to be attached at the top of the post, which is not possible for round top fencing. Additionally, this gate hinge does not come with a castor wheel, and a Castor Assembly Kit will need to be purchased separately.
