A visually appealing and cost-effective way of creating perimeters in both public and private outdoor spaces, the 0.9m High EnviroRailĀ® Standard Bow Top Railing kit is an ideal choice for use in parks, gardens or schools, thanks to its more curved design, helping to eliminate points and sharp corners. Each bay has been designed to remain strong and looking great for many years, with each having been made to our highest possible standards from steel and finished with a Polyester Powder Coating (PPC). To allow for easy installation, each kit consists of a panel, a post, and the fixings required to attach the panel to the post.
The key difference between the EnviroRailĀ® bow top railings and standard bow top railing kits lies primarily in the construction process. The EnviroRailĀ® Standard Bow Top Railing kits have been made using a revolutionary new reduced-weld system, which makes these high-quality railings a more environmentally friendly alternative to standard bow top railings, which may rely heavily on energy and welding in order to create the bonds between components.
The reduced-weld system allows for joints between components that make up a bow top railing bay to be formed without the use of welding. This is achieved through the use of specially designed components which have been formed and cut to allow them to interlock, and when pressed together, form an incredibly strong bond. This process is considerably less energy and resource-intensive than welding, and whilst there is still some welding required to create a bay, it is less than a standard bay of bow top railings.
Each EnviroRailĀ® kit comprises pre-galvanised steel hollow tubular sections. These hollow tubes provide an incredibly high level of strength whilst helping to keep the weight to a minimum, making handling, transport and installation much easier.
To allow for the installation of these railings in as many locations as possible, these kits are supplied with either dig-in or bolt-down posts.
Each 0.9m High EnviroRailĀ® Standard Bow Top Railing kit comes with the following:
As each of the kits is supplied with one post, an additional post will be required in order to complete each line of bow top railings.
The 0.9m High EnviroRailĀ® Standard Bow Top Railings are supplied as standard with a high-quality and professionally applied Polyester Powder Coating, available in a range of RAL colours (lead times may vary). These bright and colourful coatings also provide an additional function of providing the steel with a protective layer, helping to prevent the formation of rust and corrosion.
If, for any reason, the coatings on your EnviroRailĀ® Standard Bow Top Railings should become damaged, our range of easy to use touch up spray cans can be used to quickly and easily restore them and leave your railings looking great.
Step One: Drill a 6mm pilot hole in the desired location for the new cleat; this is dictated by the gradient.
Step Two: Open the hole to a 12mm hole size to take the M10 bolts (as listed in the step below).
Step Three: Touch up and spray the hole, if required.
Step Four: Attach the cleat using the M10 x 70mm Square Cup Head Bolt and Shear Nut (for 0.9m to 1.2m height systems) or M10 x 80mm Square Cup Head Bolt and Shear Nut (1.5m to 2.4m height systems).
Step Five: Attach the railing panel as per standard installation guidance.
Please note: Please ensure the spacing relationships are followed according to the existing hole centres on the posts.
These EnviroRailĀ® Standard Bow Top Railings are available in a range of heights, or if you are looking for an alternative form of railings for your project, there are also EnviroRailĀ® Vertical Bar Round Railings, or EnviroRailĀ® Play Sec Bow Top Railings, which are specially designed to be child-friendly for use around play areas.
