As a component of our EnviroRail® railings, First Fence introduces gate and railing panel kits. Our gates are available in single and double leaf options, and offer an extensive range of polyester powder-coated RAL colours. These gates can be adjusted for both bolt-down or dig-in formats, ensuring adaptability to various ground types. The EnviroRail® Flat Top Railing Double Leaf Gate distinguishes itself in the market through its environmentally conscious manufacturing process. By employing a low-weld technique and utilising custom-made, laser-cut pre-galvanised components, it significantly reduces reliance on energy-intensive welding. This eco-friendly approach resonates with customers concerned about minimising environmental impact during production.
Crafted from pre-galvanised steel meeting BS 10346 standards and coated with polyester powder, our gates demonstrate exceptional durability, enduring prolonged exposure to outdoor elements, ensuring years of reliable functionality.
Each EnviroRail® kit is comprised of hollow tubular sections. These hollow tubes provide an incredibly high level of strength whilst helping to keep the weight to a minimum, making handling, transport and installation much easier.
The EnviroRail® Gates provide a completely modular and lightweight solution, allowing for quick installation to meet diverse hardware requirements. They are universally handed, eliminating fixed left or right-hand specifications for on-site flexibility and streamlining decision-making during installation allowing installers to choose the most suitable configuration on the day. The modular functionality ensures adjustability, accommodating gate movement, a feature lacking in fixed hardware.
Each gate arrives pre-drilled, streamlining the attachment of three hinges and a drop bolt. Plastic hole plugs are included to cover any unused holes on the attack face. A locking drop bolt is available as an additional purchase and is highly recommended for a double leaf gate.
The kit includes two EnviroRail® gate leaves, two gate posts, and six adjustable gate eyes, adhering to BS 12604 safety guidelines to ensure stability even if one hinge fails. Moreover, the gate hooks are fully welded to the gate post. Plastic inserts for the open box sections are also provided.
Available in various heights and widths, our gate kits are offered in dig-in and bolt-down versions, suitable for installation in diverse locations. The dig-in variant suits softer ground types and requires Post Mix for a secure installation, while the bolt-down option is ideal for harder ground surfaces, secured using eight M16 x 125mm anchor bolts, available for addition to your order.
The UniSlide Slider Single Gate Kit comes included with all EnviroRail single gates, ensuring a secure and smooth sliding mechanism for reliable operation. The modularity of this gate range means it is compatible with all our security locks, which are also available from First Fence. An anti-climb Locking Plate can also be added to this selection.
