The EnviroRail® Vertical Bar Double Leaf Gate Kit, measuring 2.0m high x 5.0m wide, provides versatility in access control. Users can choose to have one or both leaves in the open or closed positions, allowing for customised access limitations and control. This gate, wider than many conventional gates, accommodates foot traffic and smaller vehicles, in some cases.

While this gate kit may resemble a typical vertical bar railing gate, its distinctive feature lies in its environmentally conscious manufacturing process. Utilising innovative low-weld techniques and custom-made, laser-cut pre-galvanised components, the gate achieves robust connections without the need for extensive welding, making it an ideal choice for those prioritising reduced environmental impact.

Each EnviroRail® kit is comprised of hollow tubular sections. These hollow tubes provide an incredibly high level of strength whilst helping to keep the weight to a minimum, making handling, transport and installation much easier.

First Fence's EnviroRail® Double Gates offer a fully modular and relatively lightweight gate solution, ensuring quick installation to meet diverse hardware needs. Universally handed, they provide on-site flexibility without fixed left or right-hand specifications, allowing adjustments if the gates move, a distinct advantage over fixed hardware.

Each gate in the kit arrives pre-drilled with holes, simplifying the attachment of six adjustable gate eye hinges and a locking drop bolt. Plastic hole plugs are included to conceal any unused openings on the attack face, and a locking drop bolt is available as an optional addition, highly recommended for double leaf gates for added security. The kit includes two EnviroRail® gate leaves, two gate posts, and six adjustable gate eyes (three for each gate leaf), adhering to BS 12604 safety guidelines for gate stability, even if one hinge fails, preventing injury and property damage. Additionally, the gate hooks are fully welded to the gate post with fixed-axis hinges that eliminate vertical movement.

Available in various heights and widths, the gate kits come in both dig-in and bolt-down versions, catering to installation needs in diverse locations. The dig-in variant suits softer terrain, requiring Post Mix for secure installation, while the bolt-down option is ideal for harder ground surfaces, secured using four M16 x 125mm anchor bolts per post. 

Compatible with our security locks, which are available to purchase today, this gate kit allows up to 30mm of adjustment from the catch post when installed correctly, with gates having 50mm ground clearance. The UniSlide Slider Double Kit comes included with all EnviroRail double gates, ensuring a secure and smooth sliding mechanism for reliable operation.
