These contemporary Flat Top Railings, that are also known as flat handrails or flat bar railings, are a modern gate solution suitable for all types of settings, enhancing conventional fencing into an appealing and decorative structure. Known for their smooth, horizontally-oriented flat top surface, these railings achieve a harmony between security and a welcoming ambiance, rendering them well-suited for both public and residential spaces.

Standout in the market is our environmentally conscious EnviroRail® Flat Top Railing Gate. The low-weld technique and laser-cut pre-galvanised components contribute to a firm interlock during assembly, minimising energy-intensive welding. Fabricated from from quality pre-galvanised steel meeting BS 10346 standards and then further coated with polyester powder, our gates ensure exceptional durability against harsh outdoor elements, providing reliable functionality for years.

Each EnviroRail® kit is comprised of hollow tubular sections. These hollow tubes provide an incredibly high level of strength whilst helping to keep the weight to a minimum, making handling, transport and installation much easier.

EnviroRail® Gates offer a modular and lightweight gate solution, ensuring quick installation to meet diverse hardware requirements. Universally handed, they eliminate the need for fixed left or right-hand specifications for on-site flexibility, streamlining decision-making when fitting. The modular functionality accommodates gate movement, a feature that is lacking in traditional, fixed hardware.

The gate kit includes an EnviroRail® gate leaf, hinge post, catch post, and three adjustable gate eyes, meeting BS 12604 safety guidelines for stability. The fully welded gate hooks on the gate post provide fixed axis hinges with no up or down movement.

Pre-drilled holes simplify the attachment of three adjustable gate eyes and a drop bolt. Plastic hole plugs are provided to cover any unused holes, preventing water buildup and enhancing the gate's appearance.

Designed for versatility, the EnviroRail® Flat Top Gate Kit is available in an extensive choice of heights and widths, including a double-leaf variant, ensuring we have the perfect gate for your needs. The gate kits come in dig-in and bolt-down versions, suitable for installation in diverse locations. The dig-in variant suits softer ground types and requires Post Mix for secure installation, while the bolt-down option is ideal for harder ground surfaces, secured using four M16 x 125mm anchor bolts per post. Before purchasing your gate, a ground assessment is advisable to determine the precise gate post style needed.

Finishing Touches

The UniSlide Slider Single Gate Kit comes included with all EnviroRail single gates, ensuring a secure and smooth sliding mechanism for reliable operation. The modularity of this gate range makes it compatible with all our security locks, also available from First Fence. An anti-climb Locking Plate can be added for enhanced security, along with a heavy-duty padlock. Furthermore, First Fence provides EnviroRail® Railings, Estate Railings, and Gates, offering a comprehensive range for various security needs.
