First Fence is pleased to announce to our customers the EnviroRail® Bow Top Gate range, designed to fully complement the EnviroRail® Bow Top Railing portfolio. Bow Top Railing is an attractive, distinctive and decorative form of fencing, the graceful curvature at the top of the rail enhances the aesthetics of the structure while serving a practical purpose. Despite this ornate nature, this type of product will also serve as an effective barrier with a range of applications from parks and schools to commercial and residential properties. They provide security to public spaces while maintaining an open and welcoming appearance.

EnviroRail® from First Fence features both gate and railing panel kits. The gates are available as a single and double leaf and in a range of polyester powder coated colours.

Features and Benefits

EnviroRail® Bow Top Railing appears deceptively standard but it stands apart from other similar products available on the market due to its eco-conscious manufacturing process. Employing a low-weld method, this system utilises custom-made, laser-cut pre-galvanised components that form robust bonds without the need for energy-intensive welding. This is the choice for the customer concerned with the impact of manufacturing processes on the environment.

Crafted from pre-galvanised steel meeting BS 10346 standards and further coated with polyester powder, the gates are designed to endure prolonged outdoor exposure effortlessly. You can be sure your EnviroRail® gate will give many years of reliable function.

Each EnviroRail® kit is comprised of hollow tubular sections. These hollow tubes provide an incredibly high level of strength whilst helping to keep the weight to a minimum, making handling, transport and installation much easier. Each EnviroRail gate includes a UniSlide kit, a secure and durable system that ensures smooth sliding functionality. The Single Leaf Kit comes with a retainer plate and guide plate for accurate alignment, a sturdy slider with an  handle set and fixings.

EnviroRail® Gates offer a fully modular, lightweight solution with swift installation for various hardware needs. Universally handed, they grant on-site flexibility without fixed left or right-hand specifications. If you don't know or can't decide, make your mind up on site. The modular functionality gives adjustability in case the gates move, which fixed hardware doesn't give.

Each gate arrives pre-drilled, simplifying the attachment of three hinges and a drop bolt. The inclusion of plastic hole plugs provides an option to cover unused holes on the attack face.

The kit comprises an EnviroRail® gate leaf, hinge, catch post, and three adjustable gate eyes. Meeting BS 12604 safety guidance, the three hinges ensure gate stability even if one fails, preventing potential injuries or damage. Moreover, the gate hooks are fully welded to the gate post, these are fixed axis hinges with no up or down movement.

Available in various heights and widths, the gate kit offers both dig-in and bolt-down versions, suitable for diverse installation locations. The dig-in variant suits softer ground types like soil or grass, necessitating a product such as Post Mix to ensure proper stability. On the other hand, the bolt-down option is ideal for harder ground surfaces and is affixed using four M16 x 125mm anchor bolts.

This gate kit is compatible with our security locks and when installed correctly will give up to 30mm of adjustment from the catch post. The gates have 50mm ground clearance.
