1.8m High x 1.2m Wide EnviroRail® Flat Top Single Leaf Gate Kit
First Fence is proud to announce the EnviroRail® Flat Top Gate range, designed to fully complement the EnviroRail® Flat Top Railing portfolio. Flat Top Railing is a very attractive form of fencing, with clean and unfussy lines which give visual appeal while also serving a practical purpose. This type of product serves as an effective barrier with a range of applications from parks and schools to commercial and new build homes. They provide a layer of security to public spaces while maintaining an open and welcoming appearance.
EnviroRail® from First Fence features both gate and railing panel kits. The gates are available as a single and double leaf and in a range of polyester powder coated colours.
Features and Benefits
EnviroRail® Flat Top Railing and Gates may look like a standard product, however they are manufactured using a low-weld method which means it is a more eco-friendly system. This system uses a series of custom-made and laser-cut pre-galvanised components that form incredibly strong, sturdy bonds when pressed together, negating the need to use high energy, resource-intensive welding.
The gates are manufactured from pre-galvanised steel, which conforms to BS 10346, and then polyester powder coated. Both of these treatments ensure that this product can easily withstand the rigours of being permanently sited out of doors.
Each EnviroRail® kit is comprised of hollow tubular sections. These hollow tubes provide an incredibly high level of strength whilst helping to keep the weight to a minimum, making handling, transport and installation much easier.
EnviroRail® Gates are a fully modular, lightweight system for a range of hardware that has quick and easy installation. It is universally handed, so has no fixed left or right-hand leaf, giving on-site control to choose whichever is best. The modular functionality gives adjustability in case the gates move, which fixed hardware doesn't give.
All gates come with holes ready-drilled in the frame. These holes are designed for easy installation of the three hinges and the drop bolt. Plastic hole plugs come with the gate and these can be placed into the holes on the attack face not having a drop bolt installed. Choose from a range of our security locks that perfectly complement this modular range. A locking drop bolt is also available to purchase.
The kit comes with an EnviroRail® gate leaf, hinge and catch post and three adjustable gate eyes. The three hinges make the gate compliant with BS 12604 safety guidance, meaning if one hinge should fail, the others will keep the gate leaf in place and not fall, potentially causing injury or damage. The three gate hooks are fully welded to the gate post, these are fixed axis hinges with no up or down movement.
This gate kit is available in a range of heights and widths and as a dig in or bolt down version which allows for installation in many types of locations. The dig in option is suited to softer ground substances such as soil or grass and will require Post Mix to hold the posts in place. The bolt down option is for hard ground substances and is fixed down with four M16 x 125mm anchor bolts.
When installed correctly will give up to 30mm of adjustment from the catch post. The gates have 50mm ground clearance.
The UniSlide Slider Single Gate Kit comes included with all EnviroRail single gates, ensuring a secure and smooth sliding mechanism for reliable operation. The modularity of this gate range means it is compatible with all our security locks, which are also available from First Fence. An anti-climb Locking Plate can also be added to this selection
