The EnviroRail® Bow Top Gate collection by First Fence has been designed to perfectly complement the EnviroRail® Bow Top Railing series. Within the EnviroRail® portfolio, we offer gate and railing panel kits created for both functionality and aesthetic appeal. Our gates come in single or double leaf options, providing flexibility in width, height, and a variety of polyester powder coated colours.

Renowned for their distinctive arched top line, Bow Top railings and gates stand a preferred choice for fencing and gating customers. Their elegant design lifts the visual appeal of gardens, parks, schools, residential areas, and seamlessly integrates with diverse architectural styles.

Prioritising safety, these gates boast smooth, edge-free bowed tops, which significantly reduce the risk of injury. They serve as a deterrent against unauthorised access while ensuring clear visibility into the enclosed area.

Features and Benefits

While an EnviroRail® Bow Top gate may look like a standard product of this type, its manufacturing process sets it apart. Utilising a low-weld method, this eco-conscious system outshines similar products available in the market. Laser-cut, custom-made pre-galvanised components form robust bonds during assembly, virtually eliminating the need for energy-intensive welding.

Crafted from high-quality pre-galvanised steel adhering to BS 10346 standards, further enhanced with polyester powder coating in a range of standard or non-standard RAL colours, these gates are built to endure outdoor installation, braving various weather conditions.

Each EnviroRail® kit is comprised of hollow tubular sections. These hollow tubes provide an incredibly high level of strength whilst helping to keep the weight to a minimum, making handling, transport and installation much easier. All EnviroRail gates come with a UniSlide kit, a secure and durable sliding system for smooth functionality. The Single Leaf Kit includes a retainer plate and guide plate for precise alignment, a durable slider with an integrated handle set and fixings.

EnviroRail® Gates are versatile and are easy to install. Their modular, lightweight design and universal handedness offer superb flexibility on-site, eliminating the restrictions of fixed left or right-hand leaf orientations. The modular functionality gives adjustability in case the gates move, which fixed hardware doesn't give.

Each gate arrives pre-drilled, streamlining the hinge and drop bolt installation process significantly. Plastic hole plugs are included for unused holes on the gate.

The comprehensive kit includes an EnviroRail® gate leaf, hinge and catch post, and three adjustable gate eyes. Safety remains a priority, following BS 12604 guidelines. In the event of hinge failure, multiple hinges prevent the gate leaf from falling, ensuring safety and preventing potential injury or damage. Fully welded gate hooks add an extra layer of security, these are fixed axis hinges with no up or down movement.

Available in various widths and heights, this gate kit caters to diverse installation needs, offering dig-in and bolt-down options. The dig-in choice suits softer ground, requiring Post Mix for stability, while the bolt-down alternative is perfect for harder ground, secured using four M16 x 125mm anchor bolts.

This gate kit is compatible with our security locks and when installed correctly will give up to 30mm of adjustment from the catch post. The gates have 50mm ground clearance.
